Special functions like the online measurement with USB-devices are a practical expedient for rapid data acquisition in laboratory surroundings or for functional tests during the construction of measurement installations. The sensoric layout is automatically recognized and shown in a trend diagram. During the measurement process the data are automatically stored in the background.

The evaluation of measurement data is carried out in the framework of a tabular calculation in Microsoft Excel. A macro package installed with the software pre-processes the measurement data in a clearly arranged form and offers a number of additional functions such as the theoretical calculation of important climatic parameters like absolute humidity, dew point temperature and enthalpy as well as supporting the statistical evaluation with various diagrammatic presentations.
